DJ Khaled launches 150 chicken wing outlets around the world
How ambitious is this venture by DJ Khaled? It’s no mean feat opening just one restaurant but 150 at one time is seriously crazy.
But he did it!
This world renowned rapper DJ teamed up with Reef, a virtual restaurant operator, to kick off Another Wing around the world, three continents, five countries and 18 US states. They won’t have physical shops but it will be a brand that delivers through food delivery apps.
In London, they held a launch event at Dirty Bones.
DJ Khaled’s wing’s come in 7 flavours, Un Un Un Believable Buffalo, Don’t Quit Nashville Hot, You Loyal! Lemon Pepper, Honey! Honey! Hot Honey Sriracha and the signature They Don’t Want You To Win TRUFFALO. All served with waffle fries and dips.
The size of the wings are tiny, but I expect the American ones will be quite a bit larger. Flavours were unigue and the Nashville hot is quite spicy, how I like it.
Everyone loves hot wings and if you can get it delivered when you have a craving, what’s not to love?
Review of Dirty Bones, Shoreditch
Following our selection of Another Wing‘s wings for starters, we proceeded to tackle the Dirty Bones menu. The guys on the next table advised us to order the following.
Baby back ribs – lip smackingly good, delicious marinade and sauce
Beef Short ribs – meaty, unctuous, fall off the bone tender.
Cheeseburger dumplings – not too keen on these, chewy and paled in comparison to other dishes on the table.
Lamb Fries – this is inspired, crispy skinny fries with a topping of spicy lamb bits. So good.
To go with this meat feast, we sampled a few of their cocktails. Dirty Bones is definitely the place to go for great BBQ but be warned, not great for a date night as it is loud and you won’t be able to have a conversation. On the other hand, this might be just what you are looking for.
