Tea with Tigers at Paradise Wildlife Park

It’s not every day that you get to have Afternoon Tea with Tigers. That is what I did recently.

The Tiger Tea at Paradise Wildlife Park is a quite a unique experience. Their newly added cafe has a large glass wall which looks out onto a platform where these glorious big cats lounge. You can book the cafe for private parties.

The tiger enclosure houses 3 large tigers, Rocky the male and 2 female tigers.

Rocky is getting a bit old and he can be found napping under a tree whereas the 2 girls are a bit more lively. One of them is a bit of a diva and can be seen primping herself for her audience, just like a pussy cat.

Exploring the rest of the park, there are lots of interesting animals that you can see up close. You can buy animal feed for some of the animals from booths around the park or if you had a VIP pass.

Here are some of what you can see. The highlights for me was the Penguin talk, seeing the otters play and the Rainforest section where you can see lots of unusual marmosets.

When you get there, check the timetable for the feeding times for the different animal enclosures and the talks around the park. Don’t miss the train as it takes you pass the very rare European Wolves and Reindeers.

As this is not very far from London, it would make a nice day out. You can book the Tiger Tea experience through Red Letter Days.
