Ninja Creami Iced Coffee Frapuccino

On a hot summer's day, this is the ultimate cold coffee drink. I've only found this in one Italian coffee shop but that has since closed. So I am thrilled that I can make it at home with my Ninja Creami. Give this a go, you will love this ice coffee.

Equipment

  • Kit you need: Ninja Creami Ice Cream Machine

Ingredients

  • 240 ml strong brewed coffee cooled; cold brew works beautifully
  • 120 ml whole milk or oat, almond, or soy for dairy-free
  • 1 –2 tbsp caster sugar or maple syrup adjust to taste
  • A pinch of sea salt optional, but rounds out the flavour
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract optional for a subtle depth

Instructions

  • Brew & Cool: Brew your favourite coffee and let it cool completely. If you’re in a rush, pop it in the fridge for 20–30 minutes.
  • Mix It Up: In your Ninja Creami pint container, combine coffee, milk, sugar and vanilla if you're using it. Stir well to fully dissolve the sugar. I usually make it a bit sweeter as the frozen drink won't taste as sweet.
  • Freeze: Cover and freeze upright for at least 24 hours.
  • Spin Time: Insert the frozen pint bowl into the Ninja Creami, secure the outer bowl, and select the “Sorbet” or “Lite Ice Cream” setting for a smooth slushie texture.
  • Re-spin (Optional): If the result is too powdery or crumbly, simply hit “Re-Spin” once or twice for extra smoothness.
  • Serve: Spoon into a chilled glass and drink with a reusable straw. Or you can pimp it up with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a dusting of cocoa powder if you’re feeling fancy.
