Singapore is a food paradise. Collecting influences and ingredients for several centuries, Singaporean food is now the main attraction for visitors.
From visiting all the food courts in Singapore to the best Michelin star restaurants in their new hotels and resorts, there are options for everyone.
Londoners are so lucky as Singapore is hosting another Singapore Food Festival.
Taste Singapore laksa, chilli crab and more
The food festival will feature diverse experiences and flavours, from food steeped in heritage and tradition to contemporary and innovative creations. Foodies can enjoy a taste of the festival through virtual masterclasses, workshops, heritage tours, special menus at partner restaurants and fringe activities, exclusive SFF food merchandise, as well as an all-new virtual marketplace.
Places in London with special Singapore Food Festival dishes:
Honest Burgers, all branches
Honest Burgers will introduce a limited-edition burger nationwide. Singapore’s Zi Char cuisine inspired the cereal chicken burger. A firm favourite on a local Singaporean restaurant Keng Eng Kee’s menu is cereal prawns, which Honest Burgers loved so much they took inspiration for the new burger. (I’ve only had this flavour with seafood but will be intrigued to see how it translates to a chicken burger.)
As with all Honest Burger’s limited editions, the burger will be paired with an exclusive craft beer; ‘Culinary Concepts 2.0’ is a collaboration between Singaporean brewery Off Day Beer Co. and UK-based brewery Northern Monk.
