Skylight Rooftop bar – Cocktails, Street Food and Croquet
This is a real rooftop bar. It includes three floors of a converted car park in the trendy Tobacco Docks of East London. The music combined with a view of London’s skyline sets out for a classy yet relaxed atmosphere.
You can even embrace your competitive side and take part in a spot of croquet, petanque, lawn bowls or all three! It is spacious offering plenty of seating unlike many of London’s rooftops.
Skylight serves up a wide range of drinks including the Swedish summer cocktail which perfectly complements British summer evenings. On the lowest floor, they offer a range of street food from Greece, Thailand and the classic American burger.
All food stalls offer vegetarian options and cater for dietary requirements. Prices are reasonable and are the same as what you would expect to pay for trendy London street food.
I highly recommend the fried Halloumi chips served at the Greek stall. They are more than delicious and I would be willing to return to Skylight to taste them one more time!
A lovely way to socialise after work. I wish I could spend every summer evening at Skylight!
